Do I Need Horse Experience?
No. Many of our volunteers have never worked with horses before. We provide the training and support you need to feel confident in your role.
How Old Do Volunteers Need to Be?
Volunteer opportunities are available for teens and adults. Some positions have minimum age requirements, and younger volunteers may need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
How Often Do I Need to Volunteer?
You choose a schedule that works for you. Whether you volunteer hourly, for the afternoon, or during special events, every hour makes a difference.
What Volunteer Positions are Available ?
We have opportunities for sidewalkers, horse leaders, barn assistants, office support, grounds maintenance, event volunteers, and more.
What Should I Wear?
Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dusty. Closed-toe shoes are required for everyone’s safety.
Is Training Provided?
Absolutely! Every new volunteer receives orientation and hands-on training before working with riders or horses.
Can I Volunteer With Friends or Family?
Yes! Many of our volunteers serve together. Volunteering is a wonderful way to spend time while making a meaningful impact.
Can Students Earn Service Hours?
Yes. We welcome student volunteers and are happy to verify community service hours for schools and organizations.
What Happens If it Rains?
Most riding sessions continue in our covered arena. If weather affects the schedule, we’ll notify volunteers as early as possible.
